The Iowa Law requires Cosmetology, Nail Technician, & Esthetics graduates to receive 8 hours of continuing education each year. Four of the eight hours need to be in their licensed discipline. (Example: If you are an Esthetics graduate then you must attend at least four continuing education hours relating to Esthetics each year.)

Capri College offers continuing education classes two times a year. (They are offered at Capri College around February and October.)

Facts regarding Con-Ed:

• If your Con-Ed certificate is lost, replacement fee is $7.00.
• No refunds unless we are notified one week in advance.
• Con-Ed renewals must be received in the State Office by March 1^st.
• Iowa Law requires 8 hours of con-ed.
• 2 hours must be Iowa Law.
